Intercity and Cross-Border Transfers from Prague

From Prague to Vienna, Munich, Dresden, Bratislava and cities across the Czech Republic. Prague to Vienna, Munich or Dresden in one vehicle

The train is a good choice from city centre to city centre. A car with a driver makes sense when there are three or more of you, when you have luggage, a tight flight out of Vienna or Munich, a meeting on the way, or a destination outside the centre. Your driver picks you up at the door of your hotel or office and drops you exactly where you need to be — no changes, no carrying suitcases.

A long-distance transfer can include a visit on the way: to Vienna via Český Krumlov, Telč or Mikulov, to Munich via Plzeň or Regensburg, to Dresden via Terezín or Saxon Switzerland, to Berlin via Dresden, to Salzburg via Krumlov, to Budapest via Bratislava. From Prague we also drive full-day trips with a driver — the driver waits and brings you back.

Transfers to river-cruise ports: Passau, Vilshofen, Regensburg, Nuremberg

Danube cruises start and end in German ports about 3 hours from Prague. We plan the departure backwards from your embarkation time with a time reserve, confirm the ship's berth on the day, and the driver drops you and your luggage right at the gangway. We also pick you up after disembarkation and drive you to Prague or to the airport.

Long-distance transfers in practice

Which vehicle for 10 people with luggage to Munich?
A Sprinter minibus (8–19 seats) with a separate luggage compartment. For 4–7 people a V-Class minivan is enough, for 1–3 a sedan. If you are not sure, send the number of passengers and suitcases and we will recommend the vehicle.
How long does it take from Prague to Vienna or Munich?
Vienna about 3.5–4 hours, Munich about 4 hours, Dresden about 2 hours, Bratislava about 3.5 hours, Brno about 2 hours — door to door, depending on traffic. Approximate times for other routes are in the overview above.
Can we stop on the way?
Yes. Stops are agreed in advance and included in the plan and the price — lunch, a short visit, a meeting in another city. The driver knows the route and is happy to advise, but is not a licensed guide.
Can the driver wait and drive us back the same day?
Yes. A return on the same or a later day is quoted as one job, with waiting included in the quote. For a full-day programme outside Prague, chauffeur hire by the day is often the better option.
Do you invoice foreign companies?
Yes. We invoice Czech and foreign companies with 14-day payment terms; for EU companies please send your VAT ID. Private groups pay by card through a secure payment link or by bank transfer in advance.
What is the cancellation policy for long-distance transfers?
Cancellation more than 48 hours before pickup is free. Between 48 and 24 hours before pickup we charge 50 % of the price, less than 24 hours or no-show 100 %. Cancellations by e-mail or WhatsApp are sufficient.
What do we need to cross the border?
Passengers only need a valid ID or passport. Motorway vignettes, tolls and vehicle documents are our job and are included in the price.
